Understanding everything people are saying as you walk past them, sit
next to them, is like being on mild acid, people's thought penetrating
your head when you didn't ask for it.
Road traffic seems to be boss in this country with pedestrians a sad
second, stuck on footpaths not wide enough and obviously tacked on the
side of the road itself.
Bike lanes are only affordable if there is spare car real estate on
said road.
The city itself in far from being alive again in all areas - with some
areas looking pretty much deserted, boarded up and alone, adding to
people not feeling at home where they live.
On the upside my friends cafe made me a cafe latte with my name on it
- a first.
